What cookies and similar technologies are
- Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser.
- Similar technologies include browser local storage, which keeps settings on your device, and app storage in our mobile apps. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of these.
Our approach
Boilpoints uses only what's needed to run the Service and remember your choices. We don't use:
- advertising or targeting cookies;
- cross-site tracking;
- third-party social media pixels.
We don't set any cookies. The storage we use is strictly necessary or keeps settings you've chosen, so we don't show a consent banner for it. If we ever add cookies that need your consent, such as analytics, we'll ask you before setting them and update this policy.

Some entries keep the earlier "pointcast" prefix for technical reasons. They're used only by Boilpoints.
Crash reporting

Third-party content
Podcast audio and artwork are loaded from the podcast's host or platform. When your device fetches them, those providers may receive your IP address and set their own cookies under their own policies. Our website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address.
Managing cookies
- Browser: you can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you clear local storage, you'll be signed out.
- Sign out: signing out removes your sign-in tokens from this device.
- Delete account: deleting your account in Settings → Delete account removes your data from our servers. Clear your browser or app data to remove local copies on your device.
- Mobile apps: deleting the app removes its local storage from your device.
Changes
If we change the cookies we use, we'll update this policy and the "Last updated" date. If a new cookie needs your consent, we'll ask for it first.
